ALTUS

Luxury Hospitality Mobile Experience

ALTUS is a concept mobile experience for an ultra-luxury hotel suspended above the Swiss Alps. I designed the brand direction and end-to-end mobile interface, creating a seamless way for guests to explore suites, amenities, dining, spa services, and hotel information.

Role: UI/UX Designer
Tools: Figma
Project Type: Mobile App / Hospitality
Year: 2026

Concept + Direction:

Luxury should feel quiet, intentional, and effortless.

ALTUS was designed as a digital extension of an ultra-luxury hotel above the Swiss Alps, using spacious layouts, restrained visuals, and editorial typography to create a calm and elevated guest experience.

User Experience:

I structured the app around the core parts of the guest journey: discovering the hotel, exploring suites, browsing amenities, viewing dining and spa offerings, and accessing location information.

The goal was to keep the experience intuitive without making it feel overly functional or generic. Navigation stays minimal, while imagery and typography carry most of the visual identity.

I. Stay

The suite experience guides guests from discovery to booking through image-led layouts, clear pricing, and scannable amenities.

I focused on keeping the experience refined and easy to navigate while preserving the quiet, exclusive feeling of the ALTUS brand.

Design Focus:
Suite discovery · Pricing · Amenities · Booking flow

II. Experience

Spa, dining, and hotel amenities are presented through focused, image-led layouts that make each service easy to explore.

The interface balances atmosphere with clear information so guests can quickly understand their options.

Design Focus:
Service discovery · Visual hierarchy · Calls to action

Key Features:

III. Arrival

The location experience organizes hotel, map, and transportation information into one clear flow.

Because ALTUS is positioned as a remote destination, I focused on reducing uncertainty and making arrival information easy to understand.

Design Focus:
Location · Transportation · Map clarity · Information hierarchy

I.

Luxury is communicated through restraint.

This project showed me that a premium experience does not need to rely on excessive visual detail. Clear hierarchy, generous spacing, and intentional imagery can communicate luxury more effectively than adding more elements.

Takeaways

II.

Consistency builds trust.

Designing across suites, dining, spa, amenities, and location reinforced how important a consistent visual system is. Repeating typography, spacing, and interaction patterns helped the app feel cohesive even as the content changed.

III.

Experience should guide the interface.

I learned to think beyond individual screens and focus on the full guest journey. Designing around discovery, decision-making, booking, and arrival helped create a more intuitive and purposeful experience.

Thank you for taking the time to view this project!
